All students must pay the semester fee to the students’ welfare organization and register in StudentWeb every semester. Without a paid semester fee and approved semester registration, you cannot take exams, and you will not receive a student ID card.
Deadlines
The deadline for paying the semester fee is 1 September for the autumn semester and 1 February for the spring semester. The deadline is the same for new and continuing students.
Amount
The semester fee is 850 kroner per semester. In addition, there is a statutory copy fee of 20 kroner. In total, you pay 870 kroner.
How to pay
The invoice will be available in StudentWeb when you have registered for the semester. You pay using the KID number from the invoice. It takes up to three business days before the payment is registered.
If you pay late
If you pay after the deadline, you lose the right to sit for exams in that semester. Contact Student Service as soon as possible if you have missed the deadline; in some cases, an extension may be granted.
Exemption
Students on leave for the entire semester and students in certain continuing and further education programs do not pay the semester fee.
