You can take parts of your education abroad. Most study programs have a recommended exchange semester, usually the fifth semester in a bachelor's degree or the second semester in a master's degree.
Deadlines
The application deadline is 1 February for exchange in the following autumn semester and 1 September for exchange in the following spring semester.
Requirements
You must have completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits by the time you apply and have an approved study plan. Some partner universities require a certain grade average or language proficiency.
Finances
Lånekassen provides additional grants for exchange. Erasmus+ provides a monthly grant for stays in Europe. The university does not charge tuition fees at partner universities.
Pre-approval
Courses you will take abroad must be pre-approved by the faculty before departure, otherwise you risk them not counting toward your degree.
