A five-year integrated teacher education program that qualifies you to teach science subjects at the lower secondary level and in upper secondary school. You choose two teaching subjects among mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.
Structure
The program combines subject studies, pedagogy, and subject didactics with 100 days of practical training in schools distributed over five years. The program concludes with a master's thesis in one of the teaching subjects.
Career opportunities
Completed education provides teaching qualifications in schools and lecturer qualifications with promotion.
Applying
General university admissions certification, Mathematics R1 (or S1 and S2), and a minimum of 35 school points as well as an average grade of 3 in Norwegian and 4 in mathematics (the TEACHER requirement).
A police certificate must be submitted at the start of the studies.
