The part-time kindergarten teacher education takes four years and is organized around on-campus sessions. The program qualifies graduates for work as pedagogical leader and manager in kindergarten.
Structure
The study program is organized into knowledge areas such as language, text and mathematics, nature, health and movement, and society, religion and ethics. Practical training makes up 100 days spread throughout the program. The on-campus sessions are held four times per semester; otherwise, teaching takes place online.
Job opportunities
Pedagogical leader or manager in kindergarten. The program also provides a basis for admission to a master's degree in kindergarten knowledge.
Applying
General university admissions certification with a minimum grade of 3 in Norwegian and 3 in mathematics, as well as a minimum of 35 school points.
A police certificate must be submitted at the start of the studies.
