The Master in Climate and Environment is taught in English with an emphasis on the High North. The programme covers the climate system, the cryosphere, and how change affects ecosystems and communities in the Arctic.

Structure

The first year consists of courses in climate dynamics, environmental chemistry and statistical methods, including a field course on Svalbard. The second year is the master thesis.

A bachelor degree in natural sciences with at least 60 credits in relevant subjects and an average grade of C or better. Documented English proficiency is required. The application deadline for international applicants is 1 December.
