The exam regulations govern registration, administration, cheating, illness, and appeals.

Registration and withdrawal

Registration for the exam takes place in StudentWeb by 1 September and 1 February. You can withdraw from the exam up to 14 days before the exam date without it counting as an attempt.

Number of attempts

You have three attempts per course. The faculty may grant a fourth attempt upon application for special reasons.

Oppmelding og trekk

Oppmelding til eksamen skjer i StudentWeb innen 1. september og 1. februar. Du kan trekke deg fra eksamen fram til 14 dager før eksamensdato uten at det teller som forsøk.

Antall forsøk

Du har tre forsøk per emne. Fakultetet kan innvilge et fjerde forsøk etter søknad ved særlige grunner.

Sykdom

Blir du syk, må legeerklæring leveres innen tre virkedager etter eksamensdato. Gyldig fravær teller ikke som forsøk.

Hva vi kan hjelpe med

Studentservice hjelper med praktiske spørsmål om studiehverdagen. Faglige spørsmål om emner og utdanningsplan besvares av studieveileder ved ditt fakultet.

Students with disabilities, chronic illness, reading and writing difficulties, pregnancy, or breastfeeding can apply for accommodations for exams.

Deadlines

The application deadline is 1 October for the autumn semester and 1 March for the spring semester. In the event of acute illness or injury, you can apply up to two weeks before the exam.

What can be approved

Common measures are extended time, a separate room, rest breaks, a PC with spelling correction software, reading aloud of the assignment text, and adapted furniture.

Studenter med funksjonsnedsettelse, kronisk sykdom, lese- og skrivevansker, graviditet eller amming kan søke om tilrettelegging ved eksamen.

Frister

Søknadsfristen er 1. oktober for høstsemesteret og 1. mars for vårsemesteret. Ved akutt sykdom eller skade kan du søke fram til to uker før eksamen.

Hva kan innvilges

Vanlige tiltak er utvidet tid, eget rom, hvilepauser, PC med retteprogram, opplesing av oppgavetekst og tilpasset møblering.

Most bachelor's programs and one-year courses are admitted through the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service. Master's programs, continuing education, and some decentralized offerings have local admission directly to the university.

Deadlines

The regular application deadline through the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service is 15 April. Applicants entitled to early admission or special consideration have a deadline of 1 March. International applicants outside the EEA have a deadline of 1 December.

De fleste bachelorprogrammer og årsstudier har opptak gjennom Samordna opptak. Master, videreutdanning og enkelte desentraliserte tilbud har lokalt opptak direkte til universitetet.

Frister

Ordinær søknadsfrist gjennom Samordna opptak er 15. april. Søkere med rett til tidlig opptak eller særskilt vurdering har frist 1. mars. Internasjonale søkere utenfor EØS har frist 1. desember.
